FACE Summer Camp 2026: Crowns & Chaos

Camp FACE is a one-of-a-kind overnight summer retreat designed to bring our dancers from Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton together for a weekend of connection, creativity, and fun. Limited to just 25 participants, this playful and supportive experience will include dance challenges, group activities, shared cabins by House, and time to bond with fellow FACE dancers and teachers. With no audience and no performance pressure, Camp FACE is all about building community, creating unforgettable memories, and celebrating the confidence and friendships that make the Fierce & Curvy Empire so special.

What is Camp FACE?
Camp FACE is an all-inclusive adult dance experience designed to build confidence, creativity, and community. Expect movement, performance, and connection in a no-judgement, supportive environment.

When is Camp FACE?
Camp FACE runs July 24–26, 2026.

Who is Camp FACE for?
Camp FACE is for adults (18+) of all experience levels. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

Do I need dance experience?
Not at all. We welcome all levels and provide options so you can move in a way that feels good for your body.

Where is Camp FACE being held?
Camp FACE will be hosted at Gull Lake Centre in Lacombe County, Alberta. You can view the location here: https://gulllakecentre.ca/

What are the accommodations like?
Campers will stay in shared cabins with up to 5 people per cabin. Each cabin includes bunk beds (you’re not required to take a top bunk unless you want to), a private full bathroom, and two additional sinks for getting ready. Cabins are easily accessible by vehicle, so you can drive up to unload your belongings before parking in the designated areas. There is also ample parking available on-site.

What is the cost of Camp FACE?
The total cost is $375 + GST.

Is there a deposit?
Yes. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot.

Are payment plans available?
Yes! Payment plans are available to help make Camp FACE more accessible.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations can be made up to 2 weeks before the camp start date (July 11, 2026). The $100 deposit remains non-refundable. After this 2-week period, no refunds will be issued.

Are meals and accommodations included?
Yes. Your registration includes meals and shared accommodations so you can fully immerse yourself in the experience.
Can dietary accommodations be made?
Yes. Dietary needs can be accommodated if submitted at least 1 week before camp begins.

What is the policy on alcohol or substances?
Camp FACE is a substance-free experience. No alcohol or drugs are permitted. Just vibes, sweat, and personal breakthroughs.

What does a typical day look like?
Each day includes warm-ups, technique, choreography, and confidence-based activities, along with time to connect and recharge. The full schedule will be released soon!
Is there anything to do outside of scheduled activities?
Yes! There is a beach just an 8-minute walk away from camp if you’d like to relax, unwind, or take in some quiet time by the water.

Are activities mandatory?
Not at all. We have plenty of planned activities and classes throughout the weekend, but nothing is mandatory. This is your experience, and you’re welcome to participate as much or as little as you like.

Is Camp FACE inclusive?
Always! This is a safe, welcoming space for all bodies, backgrounds, and identities. This is a judgment-free zone.

Who are the instructors?
Camp FACE is led by the Fierce and Curvy Empire (FACE) team—known for empowering, confidence-driven dance experiences rooted in community.
